Excess of Signs and Meaning is the 10th release of Swiss musician/producer S S S S (Samuel Savenberg, also Die Selektion, Dillon). The record contains four tracks loosely based on material he has been using for his more club-oriented live sets in recent times. Heavy yet playfully arranged rhythmic patterns accompanied by all sorts of industrialish noises.
The title can be seen as a comment on how nowadays music and popular culture tries to load itself with semiotics and statements seemingly in fear of losing importance. But if everything means something, nothing means anything
All music mixed, recorded, produced by Samuel Savenberg. Additional Percussion on Spark by Dominik Bienz
